Ayala’s Herbal Water Mocktail and Giveaway (CLOSED)

Last year sometime I was provided with Ayala's Herbal Water to try and I'm just getting around to giving it a whirl. It's hot as heck here in Texas! Sparkling water has never been my thing, but this year I'm all about mixing mocktails with sparkling water as a refreshing reprieve from the summer heat. I wouldn't normally buy a product like this because I'm happy to just drink water or tea but I can not get my dad to drink water no matter how hard I try. I thought he might just like this herbal water. He was not a fan of the sparkling (though I loved it) but he did happily drink the samples of the still version.

Out of the three flavors above my favorites are the lemongrass mint vanilla and the ginger lemon peel. I didn't think the cinnamon orange peel had much of a flavor. They are all very subtle with the vanilla coming out the strongest in the lemongrass mint vanilla one.

It is really my good friend Jamey that got me into mocktails because he started making them for me since I don't drink alcohol so much. It was my friend Soraya from LA that gave me the idea to add kombucha because she used to make the most delicious punch with it, adding sparkling water, juice and fresh fruit. I need to get that recipe from her actually! Here's my attempt to make something just as tasty.

First, muddle about 3 tablespoons of freshly chopped pineapple until nicely smooshed. Add 1/2 cup sparkling herbal water (I used the ginger lemon peel), 1/2 cup kombucha (I used Synergy Mystic Mango), and 1 tablespoon sweetener (I used maple syrup). Whisk that all together and serve over ice (I like to put it in a fancy glass). Feel free to play around with the amount of sweetener because some kombucha brands have more sweetness.

Now for the giveaway! GIVEAWAY CLOSED! Audrey won!

One lucky US reader will get a 12 sampler pack of the Herbal Water sparkling single serve bottles.

My mom is the same way when it comes to drinking water – she just cannot drink it plain. And considering she practices hot yoga every morning, she definitely needs the hydration.
The lemongrass mint vanilla sounds so good!

I was just thinking how nice it would be to have a refreshing, non-alchoholic beverage. I was going to say the cinnamon orange peel sounding yummy, but it doesn't sound like you're too fond of it.  Not a tweeter, so this is it.

I think the flavor that sounds the most delightful and refreshing would be the lavender mint. I love lavender lemonade and would like to try a sparkling water in this flavor. :)
I followed Herbal water on twitter as @QueenBublo and entered the statement above along with my own comments. I can't wait to try this mocktail! I LOVE me some kombucha and Synergy Mango is one of my go-to flavors. Awwwwesome :) <3

They all sound great but I guess i'll choose Lemongrass Mint Vanilla. These sound like my kind of product. I'm not a fan of those other products who call themselves water but are really sugar water. This water sound great! I can't wait to try it one day.
